Mike Nilles markets BCC’s lending affiliate, Boston Community Loan Fund, to potential borrowers, underwrites loan requests, and conducts ongoing portfolio management. In addition to financing affordable housing development, Mike currently focuses on community facilities for organizations such as community health centers and charter schools, in transactions that often involve providing leverage debt into New Markets Tax Credit structures. Mike has been with BCC since 1996, except for a period from 2001-2004 when he worked as a consultant in community-based financing and real estate development.
Before joining BCC, Mike worked in a middle-market commercial lending group at BayBank.
A graduate of Georgetown University and the Yale School of Management, Mike previously served as a Jesuit Volunteer in Seattle.
