As a negotiator, Dan works with individuals who have experienced temporary financial hardship to obtain relief from foreclosure and eviction. He negotiates short sales and purchases of real estate owned (REO) properties from servicers and lenders which are then sold back to the occupant at fair market value using sustainable financing. Dan is also a member of the closing team. He has a background in real estate title work and assists in resolving outstanding issues that may impact the closing.
Prior to joining BCC, Dan worked for several years as an immigration attorney and continues to volunteer with the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Military Assistance Program, which provides prop bono assistance with immigration-related issues to members of the military and their families.
Dan earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, graduating cum laude in 2009.
