Congratulations Rebecca Regan

We are pleased to announce that Rebecca Regan has been promoted to President of Boston Community Loan Fund. She will oversee all of our lending programs, managing a portfolio of community development loans that serve low-income people and communities. She will also seek to expand our lending across the Massachusetts and the Northeast.

Becky joined Boston Community Capital's management team in 2005 as Chief Operating Officer of Boston Community Loan Fund. Prior to joining the Loan Fund, she worked at Bank of America, where she was a Senior Vice President in the developmental real estate department. Becky has nearly 20 years of real estate banking experience, most of it at Bank of Boston and Fleet, where she worked with Gail Snowden in the First Community Bank and the Community Banking Group.  She has strong experience with public financing programs and complex private transactions, and has collaborated with Loan Fund staff on several large transactions.  Becky is an elected member of the Planning Board in Wayland and has served on the boards of New Ecology and the Mother Caroline Academy in Roxbury.  She is a graduate of Boston University and has an MBA from Babson College.

"Becky is a veteran finance professional with strong experience in, and a deep commitment to, community development,” said Dick Jones, Boston Community Capital Chief Operating Officer, “Her extensive lending background and her nonprofit experience make her an excellent choice to lead the Loan Fund and expand our business. We are delighted to announce her expanded role and responsibilities as President of the Loan Fund."
